I’m Whitney Morgan, the mother of four wonderful children and a resident of Pasadena, CA. My love of family and home led to my desire to support new mothers and families.

My doula journey began after giving birth to my own children and realizing just how challenging and transformative the birth journey is. I know what a profound and enduring impact it can have on a woman.  I learned that outside support is an important foundation for a positive experience, and I want to be that support for other women and families. I was encouraged to pursue a career as a doula by friends and family members that I have helped through the prenatal, delivery, and early postpartum period.

I have completed Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula training with DONA International, the world leader in evidence-based doula training, certification, and continuing education, and I am a current DONA member. I am also a trained and well-practiced Lactation Educator, as well as certified in both infant and adult CPR.

My nurturing, mindful approach is shaped by personal experience and training, as well as by my Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Every family deserves the education and tools needed to have an empowering transition into their fourth trimester, whether they are a first time parent or a veteran.

 I see myself as an asset to you as a knowledgeable resource and guide on your journey.  I will support you emotionally and physically, with crucial, evidence-based information every step of the way, according to your individual needs and preferences. I am conscientious about interacting positively and professionally with the rest of your birth team, because I believe it benefits you and your experience when we all work cohesively in our individual roles. I love helping you connect with each other, your baby, your family, the community, and especially yourselves.

Wholly passionate about birth, parenthood, and children, my number one wish is to help, encourage, and empower families from all cultural backgrounds, family sizes, shapes, colors and identities. No matter how your family was created, I’m ready to meet you where you are and do what I can to make everyone’s day just a little bit better.
