Why hire a Birth or Postpartum Doula?

A Birth Doula provides evidence-based, judgment free, unlimited support both before and throughout the birth, as well as in the immediate postpartum hours. 

A Postpartum Doula provides new parents with the critical support during the early days after the baby comes home. Parents can get answers to your questions of “what’s normal,” help processing a birth experience or big feelings, and have an expert at their fingertips as they grow confidence and knowledge in their new roles as parents.

When should I book support? 

Month six or seven of the pregnancy is optimal.

My baby is already born, am I too late? 

The fourth trimester, up to a 12-week window following birth, is when a postpartum doula may be helpful.

How will we know how much support we might need?
